Courses for adults

Progress Language School offers courses in English, German, Italian, Spanish, French and Russian at a general and specialized level; you can check your proficiency in your chosen language at www.telc.net/sample papers.

We help our students prepare for exams administered by the University of Cambridge in the English language; for more information please refer to (www.britishcouncil.pl/examinations/sample papers)

This includes completion of proficiency certificates such as:

Key English Test (KET)

Preliminary English Test (PET)

First Certificate in English (FCE)

Certificate in Advanced English (CAE)

Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE)

We also highly recommend to visit http://www.cambridgeenglish.org where one can find online practice tests for the FCE and CAE qualifications.

In addition we offer

- Courses and workshops for preparation of Nowej Matury (our effectiveness has been confirmed by our graduates who have received high marks and which had previously dropped out)

- Exam preparations for a German Certificate in Deutch and Mittelstufe through mock examinations, please see http://www.telc.net/

- Preparation for TELC (The European Language Certificates) – which includes exams from the European Union for youth and adults in English and German intended for working abroad

TELC completion is particularly attractive to adults who are just beginning to learn a language or already know it at a basic level, as the 1st degree Certificate can be obtained in a relatively short period of time (typically after a mere 120 hours of learning). The duration of the course depends on the initial level of the candidates as well as their selected level of intensity in their learning and classes. The level of entry is determined on the basis of tests and/or interviews.
